Three Shot, One Fatally, At Housing Complex In Western Mass

Three men were shot, one fatally, during an incident in Western Massachusetts.

The incident took place in Hampden County around 10:10 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, in Springfield when officers responded to Williams Sands Jr. Road at the Robinson Gardens housing complex for a report of a person shot, said Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield Police.

When officers arrived on the scene they found two men inside an apartment with gunshot wounds, Walsh said.

A third person was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle, he added.

One of the men died early Wednesday, April 28. The two other men are in stable condition, Walsh said.
